Tom Agee, American voice-over, has worked on both sides of the microphone during

a long career in advertising both in the U.S. and here in New Zealand. Having been a

writer, producer himself, earlier in his career, Tom, is able to deliver the goods quickly

and effectively, whether it’s a character voice like Fred Flintsone, a youthful, punchy

delivery for Burger King, or an old Southern hillbilly for Jack Daniels. Just tell him

“how old” and “what part of the States” and he gives it to you. A university lecturer in

Marketing and Advertising, he established New Zealand’s first degrees in Advertising

at AUT and often works for clients whom he once taught - a real buzz for Tom. Last

year he was inducted into the Marketing Hall of Fame.

kiwi-bloke’.

Millen has voiced many TV and Radio commercials from Vodafone and Kelloggs,

Here is the news. Tom Bradley’s back on the voice scene. In the late 70s, Tom was

one of NZ’s busiest voices. Corporate videos, radio and TV commercials. But then,

this one-time pirate disk jockey’s voice began to saturate the ad breaks on his TV

news shows and TV bosses got nervous. (What’s new?) Tom had to choose between

his freelance voice career and TV news. Tom went with the box and graced our

screens for over decades. But now his authoritative voice with its instant credibility

is available again. And that’s all good news.

Buzz and Poppy, to very fruity vocal renditions as Phoebe from Friends singing a rip-

off of the infamous Smelly Cat song and Dolly Parton singing Islands in the Stream!!

NZ Idol.
