Section A: Joint Trade Union Survey on TETRA Airwave Equipment
Private and Confidential
This survey is an attempt to gain information from various users of TETRA Airwave.
These radios, which emit low level electromagnetic radiation, are used nationally and
are well known within the public service and some private sector companies. The
trade unions named at the bottom of the second page have members who use the
TETRA Airwave system. They have some concerns over the long term potential
harm to the human body. This survey is an attempt to gain information into how
users feel about using this equipment and the possible effects it has on them. The
survey is anonymous in order to protect your identity. We would ask TETRA Airwave
users to complete the form even if it has had no effect on them so that we obtain as
representative a return as possible.
