Contemporary Architecture
Meets Classic New England Charm
14 Beautifully Constructed Buildings
The gateway to the 14 building complex is the newly constructed
Mayflower Hall, a large multi-level building which served as the pri-
mary education building. North of Mayflower Hall and up a wooded
lane are the Poet's Lodges; three identical houses, attractively shin-
gled in the New England tradition, ideal for living quarters or admin-
istration buildings. As you follow the path south, along the activities
field, you will find a cluster of three identical, modern ranch houses;
the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria Halls. Continuing on the path,
Pequod Hall is a beautifully renovated New England barn. From its
expanse of windows can be seen the mountains and woodlands sur-
rounding the campus. This building houses a full size commercial
kitchen, dining hall, and library. Further east is found a large house
which is the only building left of the original farm known as Spring
Hill Farm, built in 1790. The grounds include large manicured grass
fields, a basketball court, plenty of community areas to conduct
groups and gatherings, and miles of walking trails.
