o Description: DHL EMEA billing suite of applications refers to a set of 4 applications for
carrying out the complete billing process (shipment entry, rating, invoicing and adjustments) in
the shipment life cycle.
o Technologies: ESQLC, Unix Shell Scripting, Informix , Uniface
o Application details:
External Rating Module (ERM) System: This application deals with the rating of the
inbound and outbound day definite and time definite shipments and calculates the base
charges, discounts, taxes, surcharges, service based charges associated with them.
Special Invoicing and Rating (SIR) System: This application deals with performing
adjustment operations on the already billed shipments. This involves the credit/debit
note generation process and invoicing them as per customer‟s billing cycle.

Managed a team of 3-4 people during design, build, support phase of the project

o Description: This application carries out the end to end billing process in DHL APIS &
LATAM regions. It deals with all billing processes including shipment data entry, rating,
invoicing as per invoicing cycle, re-rating, credit/debit note generation, cash re-conciliation &
invoice printing.
