Our web tension control experience provided to the whole Danaher sales force, the necessary expertise to
customer to choose the most adapted configuration.

A closed loop web tension control is - as any closed loop control - composed with the four classical blocks
SENSOR, CONTROL, DRIVER, POWER MODULE.

Sensor and control are certainly the sensible elements for the control accuracy.
Two types of sensors are used in the converting machine market :

Controllers




Most tension controllers work in closed loop configuration. Our “closed loop tension controller” is fully
dedicated to the “tension” control. It is able –in fact – to manage the very large inertia ratio existing in the
raw material available under roll shape.
