At the time of your appointment please
either login to your account at
www.accesstotherapy.com and click on
the link “enter your session”
Or, follow the link on your 36 hour
reminder email and login through there
You will be routed automatically your
session with your provider
Meet Your Therapist
At the appointment time your therapist will
open the connection for you both
Please adjust your “toggle icons” so that you
will have a split screen at first (meaning two
windows side by side, one showing you and
the other your therapist)
This will allow you both to adjust lighting,
position and sound at the beginning of the
session.

Troubleshooting and
adjustments
If you have any questions or need help with
adjusting your levels, your provider can walk
you through it at any point during the session
It may seem strange to see yourself on screen
while you are in session, therefore some
clients choose to only see the therapist’s
screen
Your therapist will not know what setup and
layout you have chosen, nor will the therapist
be able to see anything else that is on your
computer
The Actual Session
Each session lasts approximately 50 minutes
and it is your provider who will keep track of
time
All sessions are confidential and run through a
highly secure and encrypted server
Your provider will maintain all necessary
records and documents in accordance with
standard practices
What next ?
The provider cannot book a new session for you, but
you can set a standing appointment if you’d like –
however, sessions need to be reserved and paid for
online.
If you have an Emergency and need immediate
assistance you must call 911
If you need to book a session quickly because of
pressing concerns, you can do so online if your
therapist has any openings. If you see no available
appointments online please email your provider and
ask if he/she could make time for you
Most providers will accommodate clients in crisis if
made aware and will try to get you a session as quickly
as possible
