Notice of Amendment to the Overseas Spending Double
Reward Programme and Notice of the Asia Miles Conversion
Service for Holders of BEA VISA PLATINUM Card and
Co-branded/Affinity VISA PLATINUM Cards
1. Cancellation of the Overseas Spending Double
Reward Programme
Effective 15th August, 2009, the Overseas Spending Double
Reward Programme for holders of BEA VISA PLATINUM
Card and co-branded/affinity VISA PLATINUM Cards will be
cancelled. Starting from the said date, cardholders will
receive 1 Bonus Point for every HK$1 (after conversion of
foreign currency into Hong Kong dollars) spent on retail
transactions that are made overseas and posted in a
currency other than Hong Kong dollars.
2. Asia Miles Conversion
Holders of BEA VISA PLATINUM Card and co-branded/
affinity VISA PLATINUM Cards will receive 1 Asia Mile for
every 8 Bonus Points redeemed. Asia MilesTM will be
credited to the relevant Asia Miles member account 4 to 6
weeks after conversion.
