Connection

Your Webcam

 Make sure that you have a webcam that is

connected to your computer

 If you have an internal webcam (one built into

your system) the software will automatically

choose and open the webcam for use.

 If you have an external webcam, you may have

to double click on its icon to open up the

camera window.

Downloading your software

 Open your welcome email and click on the link

to the software download

 Once you are at the download, simply follow the

instructions on how to download and install the

software

 You may have to reboot your computer after the

software has been installed but your system will

let you know if you need to reboot or not.

Testing your connection

 Now that your software has been downloaded

and installed successfully and your webcam is

operating, you are ready to test your connection

 After the software download you will see a login

window on your screen

 Place your curser in the space for “login as a

guest” and enter your first name

 Click on “guest login”

Testing your connection

 After you logged in, you should arrive at a screen in

which you will see yourself in a smaller square window.

 Adjust your camera in order to bring your face or torso

into the picture fully (you may have to move the screen

if the camera is built into your laptop)

 Also, you may realize that the picture is too dark or

bright, simply adjust lighting or your position to make

your appearance clear and crisp on the screen

 In the upper left of your screen you will see a

number of little icons

 These icons can be used to adjust the volume,

allow you to see your therapist only or see both

of you in screens side by side, and to mute and

un-mute your session

 Please adjust the levels and layout of the screen

to your personal preferences, there is no right or

wrong way

 The most important part is that if you see yourself in

the screen, your connection is fully functional.

 If you do not see yourself, reboot your system one time

only and attempt login.

 If at that point in time you still cannot see yourself and

you checked your camera to be “on” please contact our

tech support and within 24 hours we will get in touch

with you to resolve your connection problem.
