Twisted Pair Remote V Light
Remote Solution – for Twisted Pair Cable
TwP Remote V Light
transmits digital (DVI-D) or
analogue (VGA) video
signals and USB data over
a single TwP CAT6 cable.
Save space and eliminate
noise and heat radiation at
the desk.
Brilliant picture quality for
resolutions to 1920x1200.
Latency free transmission.

unshielded twisted pair cable for signal
transmission between the transmitter
and receiver ensures a high picture
quality.
The workstation’s data signals (USB,
Serial) and stereo audio signals are
transmitted together with the video over
a single twisted pair cable.
The transmission of two video signals
(dual screen) requires an additional TwP
Remote V Light connection to the desk.
Compensation of cable loss
During transmission, the quality of the
signal decreases according to the length
and characteristics of the cable.
Attenuation
The attenuation of signals results from
Ohm resistive characteristics as well as
capacitive and inductive resistance of
cable, leading to a reduction of the total
signal and a weakening of the higher
frequencies in particular.
Skew
Depending on production methods, the
four-paired conductors in a twisted pair
cable are usually of unequal length.
The three colours (RGB) are transmitted
separately each using a single pair of
wires. This results in skew delays
between the colour signals, appearing
as misaligned colours on the screen.
WEY cable equalisation automatically
compensates for all effects described
above for common cable types.
Space saving modules
The TwP Remote V Light is available as
EURO format cards for installation in a
chassis as well a standalone solution.
Multiple chassis models (also with re-
dundant PSU) are available in different
sizes and shapes. Customized solutions
will be developed and produced upon
request.
Advanced solutions have already been
developed and implemented in partner-
ship with innovative furniture suppliers.
WEY Allocation System
For clients with a WEY Allocation Sys-
tem, the TwP Remote V Light receivers
can also be used as a videoswitch
receiver.
