Experience
I taught all subject areas, including math, reading, spelling,
social studies, and science.
I was able to communicate with a parent who speaks only
Spanish, giving her instructions for her daughter while she
was away from class. I also ran the parent-teacher
conference with this student and her parents.
I worked in various situations, including whole class
instruction, small group instruction, and one on one
instruction.
I served on the “Love of Reading” committee, where I
helped organize a school wide “love of reading week”,
arranging various guest readers, and scheduling parents to
come and eat and read with their children.
I also served on the Technology committee, where we
discussed ways of improving the computers in our school,
by upgrading 50 of our computers to a more efficient
system.
