Led media relations for the $2.2 billion Interventional Cardiology business. Focused on representing BSC,

not only as a global medical device leader, but also as a responsible producer of coronary care products.

 Doubled positive local media coverage from year one to year two and continued to expand coverage in

key media. Increased trade and online coverage by 120% over three years.

Worldwide supplier of diversified technology, products and services with $34 billion in global sales.

Recruited to upgrade Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) worldwide marketing communications. Re-

organized staff, adding three high performers in key global roles.

Motorola’s $450 million commercial and embedded computer division. Managed all consultant and industry

relations programs.

 Introduced the StarMax family of Macintosh personal computers from Motorola achieving double the

projected marketshare in 18 months

 Redesigned B2B website and entire Internet marketing program, contributing to business growth of 27%

year on year. All fulfillment and e-business managed online.



Director, Marketing Communications, 1992 – 1996

Motorola Information Systems Group, Mansfield, MA

Marketing communications leader for ISG, a $650 million manufacturer of networking products. Developed

and implemented worldwide marketing communications to promote analog and ISDN modems to consumer

markets and networking products to business segments.

 Built New Product Introduction (NPI) process for communications programs, launching major router and

ATM products.

 Created the communications plan that launched Motorola into the consumer modem market in retail,

building the BITSurfr to become the best selling ISDN terminal adapter in U.S. markets.
