Hi, friends!
My name is Mikhaila Leinbach, and after competing in
the Miss North Carolina pageant last year, I won The
Road to Las Vegas Challenge by raising the most
amount of money for Children's Miracle Network
Hospitals (except for a few girls who were already in Las Vegas competing in the national pageant).
It was a total surprise and the most exciting thing ever when I heard that the Miss America
Organization and CMNH were flying me and my mom to Las Vegas, NV for the National
Competition week and the Miss America Pageant!
The entire week was magical!!! We had front row seats to the “Show Me Your Shoes” parade,
invitations to rehearsals and special meet-and-greets with some of my favorite Miss Americas, seats
at the VIP table for the Decades of Dreams Gala, VIP orchestra seats to the preliminary and the final
nights of competition, and so many more amazing memories. I will treasure the experience (and the
photos!) from that incredible week for a lifetime.

The lucky woman who raises the most funds for CMNH through their profile on the
MissAmerica4kids.org website between August 1 and November 30, 2011 will win a trip for two to
Miss America, including airfare and hotel accommodations at Planet Hollywood for 5 nights, plus a

name entered in a drawing for a second trip for two to Miss America in January. Can you imagine?
