Descriptive Paragraph:

Sports and Entertainment Marketing focuses on the function of marketing and the relationship of goods,

services, and ideas involving sports and entertainment in the marketing process. Marketing research, the

marketing mix, target markets, demographics, legal issues, risk management, and insurance are major topics

in this pilot. Students will apply these principles and concepts in marketing and non-marketing careers.









Person(s) responsible: Art McCoy and Jay Boleach

Number of employees: CTE Curriculum Coordinator, and 3 CTE Instructors

Number of students enrolled/participating in program: 100 per year

Costs: (If Applicable) $4,170

Funding Source: Local District Funds

Evaluation Criteria: Technology Skills Attainment exams, for CTE Student completors.
