• Specialist training in the field of technology transfer and

commercialization of technologies

• Preparation of future management coaches for the Tomsk

technological park (student business incubator)

• Development of a world class business program leading to

a SUNY Bachelor’s degree

• A cost effective double degree program, with a full scale

credit transfer (96 credits from TUSUR)

• Subsequent development of a collaborative distance

learning program to be promoted in Russia and within the

Russian-speaking community in other countries

Credit transfer: 96 credits from TUSUR

• In Russia, the students are studying full time at TUSUR (5 years)

• Most of them will earn degrees in industrial electronics and innovation

management

• TUSUR will have to update some of the existing/develop new courses





• Existing TUSUR courses: • TUSUR courses to update:

– Lower level and advanced level Math – Management and Organizations

– Science (Physics) – Marketing Principles

– Other Gen Education – Economics

– Information Management

– Industrial Electronics • TUSUR courses to develop:

– Ethics – General Education (SUNY requirement)

– Innovation Management – Academic Writing (English)

– 1-2 courses in English

• TOEFL 550 will be needed before matriculation

(after 12 credits with ESC)

• Short time faculty visits to Tomsk (September

2007, May-June 2008)

• Faculty coordinators in Tomsk and Saratoga.
