10 races, and 11 street legal races. More european championships
Denmark
4 round of championsship in 5 classes.
A few street races and other races, e.i. Mosten Raceday in the fall with more than
150 teams.
One round in Malmø was cancelled.
Finland
6 rounds of championships, around 75 bikes, all classes, funny bikes was a cup.
In Finland you can buy one event license at all races, but it´s much more expensive
than buying a full license.
Next year 6 rounds in all classes.
3. Proposals from the Nordic countries
3.1 From Svemo: We had a discussion regarding world championship in the future.
3.2 Nordic championship-series for STTF, PS, FB and STTG classes will be held in
three rounds, outside the European Championship arrangement Jari and Pia will be
in charge of the coordinating the races with the different organizers and coordinate
rules, pointsystem, medals, throphys for winner and runner up in each race,
pricemoney and so on. The general rules for the series should be ready within the
end of 2010. Tecnical rules will follow UEM
A main reason for not having SGB in the nordic championship is, that it is a break
out class.
3.3 From SML: SGB index want to lower it to 9.1. SML was recommended to do it on
a national level.
3.3. and 9. We will use the FIM-rules for helmets and discussed other protection
codes.
4. Going through and harmonizing of the Nordic Rules.
We did harmonize the rules.
5. Junior Drag Bike.
We discussed the junior drag bike and the difference in age and engine size and
tires. We desided to harmonize the rules for junior drag bike in the nordic countrie in
2012.

their families.

Nordic Meeting Drag Racing sub group Snowmobile
Agreed to move the Nordic Championship Snowmobile Drag racing (Snow) 2011
from Sweden to Finland. The rational is that no Swedish organizers are
available. Finland is taking Sweden’s place in the agreed cycle. This means
that the future cycle will be Finland again in 2012, then Norway in 2013 and
Sweden 2014.
Agreed to freeze the weight index for all Nordic events on the SVEMO 2010 level
for additional 3 years. Next review of the weight index will then be conducted
for the 2014 season. The rational is to make the Pro Stock Class more
predictable in times with lack of recruitment.
Agreed to run the Nordic Grass Cup for 2011 over 3 events; Sweden – Dala-Jerna
in July, Finland – Power Park in August and Norway – Verdal in September.
Agreed to recommend Neck braise for all Classes in Drag Racing from the 2011
season.
Agreed to review the Junior Class regulation for snow and grass and make
necessary changes in order to decrease the entry cost for new beginners. All
three nations agree that recruitment is the overall biggest challenge for the
future. Desired end state is to have a common set of rules in place within start
of the 2011 grass season.
Agreed to harmonize the fuel regulations between the three nations with special
focus on the Stock and Improve Stock Classes.
The meeting spent a lot of time on general harmonization issues between the
three nations. Since the SVEMO regulations are the basis for the Nordic
regulations they where used as framework for the discussions. All nations
agreed to harmonize as much as possible in order to ensure cross boarder
recruitment.
