Rochester

A Driving Tour of Our City
Welcome to
With just over a million people living in the
metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs,
Rochester has the entertainment and culture of
a big city, yet feels like a small town. A world-
renowned jazz festival, professional sports teams,
independent theaters, museums, parks, beaches,
and one-of-a-kind restaurants and boutiques are all
a part of what makes Rochester unique. Visitors are
sure to feel welcome here: American Demographics
magazine has named Rochester the “Friendliest
City in America.”
