The Clinton Global Initiative (Hong Kong Internship) - Application deadline on 29 February 2008 (Posted on 24 January 2008)
To: All undergraduates and postgraduates, The Clinton Global Initiative (http://www.clintonglobalinitiative.org) is inviting applications for the Hong Kong Internship. The Clinton Global Initiative was launched three years ago by President Clinton in New York as a project of the Clinton Foundation. Its mission is to bring together global leaders to address some of the world's most pressing challenges such as poverty, climate change, lack of health care, and inadequate education. Members are required to make a specific action plan to help address one or more of these problems. This year, the CGI is extending its reach by hosting an additional regional meeting outside of the United States. The first will be in Hong Kong at the end of May (29th - 30th). The CGI are currently in the process of recruiting interns who will be able to commit about 15 hours plus a week. They will largely be cross departmental roles, so will include aspects of membership, event programming, sponsorship, office administration, data base management. Application Method Download the application at www.clintonfoundation.org. Click on the 'intern' link in the left hand navigation bar and then select the Hong Kong internship. Complete and email the application to kate.harris@clintonglobalinitiative.org. The packet must include the application, current resume, cover letter or statement of interest (400 words max). A short writing sample is optional.
