MY INSTRUCTIONS ARE IN RED
First Connection Sequence
Follow this guide if this is the first time you are connecting your Wiimote to your PC,
you are connecting a different Wiimote to your PC or you have removed the Wiimote
from your HID list.
1. To open you can right click on the systems bar and select 'Explore My Bluetooth
Places' or double click on 'My Bluetooth Places' in 'My Computer' or open Bluesoleil
from 'Start/All Programs/IVT Bluesoleil/' The first thing needed is to run the blue
soleil program which should look a little bit like this.
2. Hold buttons 1 & 2 (don't let go or you will have to restart) After following and
opening the program. Press the 1 and 2 buttons of the wii remote. And do NOT Let
Go until link is established.
3. Wait for your Wiimote to be detected 'Nintendo RVL-CNT-01' will display Press f5
or check on the my bluetooth options on the top “My Bluetooth” and click discover.
REMEMBER DONT LET GO OF THE 1 AND 2 BUTTONS YET
If Bluesoleil does not detect your Wiimote, unplug your Bluetooth radio, plug it
back in, reboot your computer, start again and press the centre orange circle
before step 2. AFTER DOING STEP ABOVE THE BLUETOOTH will start
receiving and discovering the wii remoteDONT LET GO YET OF BUTTONS.
WHEN you refresh this should appear
4. Right click the Wiimote (Nintendo RVL-CNT-01) that shows up and click 'Refresh
Services'. Right click The newly appeared icon and click on the first option.
REFRESH SERVICES. I REPEAT DON”T LET GO YET.
Should this not work, press 1+2 on the Wiimote and simply click on the Wiimotes
icon in Bluesoleil
5. Click the Bluetooth HID mouse button that shows highlights on the top row of
device. After clicking the refresh Services be patient and wait. After a while
theloading will stop and THIS Will appear . While still having the buttons
pressed click on the mouse and it will start loading.
If this results in a "The service not available connection failed" message then you
will have to try the #Alternative Solution
6. If this is a first time connection you will need to wait for the HID drivers to be found
and installed. This may take a while and requires admin privileges on your Windows
user.
The green line indicates the device is connected FINALLY you CAN LET GO
AFTER A GREEN DOTTED LINE HAS STARYED FORMING FROM THE
GREEN LETTERED ICON AND LETTERS LINK WITH THE ORANGE BALL
WHICH IS THE COMOUTER. DONT LET GO UNTIL YOU can seeTHE Ball is
transmitting back and forth the dotted lline
8. Release buttons 1 & 2 on the Wiimote
9. Open Smoothboard or your other Wiimote application. (If you wait more than 10
seconds between releasing buttons 1 & 2 and executing your application your
Wiimote may disconnect).
