Spread with info whether data is complete for pricing or not is found at the
current master spread named CanadianSpread_1030_revised
(CanadianSpread_1030_ is an updated version of CanadianSpread_0629
that Mark had sent me. I had made changes such as putting in Data
complete, Bloomberg having no info, added approx 20 deals that are noted
as ―added‖ in column A. Then, I had arranged them in abc order and
changed the name to CanadianSpread_1030_revised
Note: I began saving this info to RAIM on 10/30/2003
I was sent pricing for some of the targets and acquirers from Datastream.
Later, I was connected with Bloomberg and began to find pricing on my
own. The pricing that I gathered from Bloomberg are in spreads that I
copied and worked off of that are named as follows;

11/06/03 –Mark sent to me some mergers to gather pricing on that were
taken from Bloomberg. I compiled the word documents for them which I
added to Canadian_word document and started a new spread named
CanadianSpread_1119 and CanadaSpread_5_revised(has Bloomberg
pricing, returns, etc). The info for pricing that I gathered from Bloomberg
can be found under Canada_4_Bloomberg.

01/22/04 Mark and I discussed CanadaSpread_5. I had gone in and lined
up dates with the targets and acquirors that had defaults of different types of
currencies. This made empty spaces and when you look at the ―Spread‖
column you will find it out of line, this being the case, we decided to leave
it for the time being and not pull down the price from the previous day. For
example, look at target Glyko Biomedical and Biomarin Pharmaceutical
note: this has been updated 03/15/04 I had gone back in the spreads and
added the exchange value and did the spreads, percentages, correct
conversions, etc these are noted as revised- For example,

is the current master spread will be put on RAIM and left alone for Mark to
check over later in the summer or fall with Kaska. Any new or ―live‖ deals
will be put in CanadianSpread_2004 and a new word document is set up
named Canadian_word_A_Z_2004

Note: I, Linda, discussed with Mark the deal id numbers in trying to keep
the countries all separate. Since there are so many countries to deal with he
decided for me to go back in and also use the same number for any company
that was not only the target but was an acquiror in other deals. Doing this,
we started Canada by using numbers in the 100,000 range, France by using
the 200,000 range, UK- 300,000 and so on. After these we are having to
begin dividing up the countries as such, Sweden 400,00-449,000 Norway
450,000-499,999, and so on ending up with lumping the countries with the
smallest amt of deals under the 900,000-999,999 range.

Target, Allstream Inc received a special dividend of C$3.5 in cash on

Acq, Golden Star Resources is US company but on Bloomberg its default is

INTERTAN INC, I entered it in using default, with the Canadian tickers,
just few dates showed up, so I also entered again using the US ticker. Both
