Rustic Steel Creations has started Welding Classes in its studio in the Channel District.
First class starts on March 14, 2009

Classes are limited to 10 people per class.

Students should bring a welding hood, gloves and proper attire.

They supply all materials, welders, gases, grinders, safety goggles, fabrication tables.

Class will consist of different techniques from being able to make small things to one-of-
a-kind furniture.

Welding classes offered: Working with different types of metals; prepping your metals;
plasma cutting; mig welding; tig welding; grinding and polishing techniques; making a
jig and working with a template; working with found objects; making functional art,
mirror frames, tables and sculptures.

2009 KLAAREN Painting Outdoors with Acrylics
Saturday Morning WORKSHOPS

Local Tampa artist Terry KLAAREN invites you to sign up for his annual
“Plein air” workshops. His proven step-by-step method for completing an
outdoor painting within 2 hours makes the award winning artist’s low stress
workshops fun and inspirational to artists of all abilities. Classes are held in
local parks from 10am- 1pm; take one class or take them all. See
