Course Topic Advanced Computer Networking and server based solutions for network associates
Purpose To give the participants a thorough knowledge on computer networking and server
based solutions starting from the basics and reaching its peak to design a complete
network which can compete with various industrial applications using the most
efficient and correct theoretical scenarios accompanied with hands on lab sessions
(This covers all the areas relevant to reputed Network Associate courses).
Aimed Group School leavers (After O/L)
Course Duration Saturday or Sunday (9.00 am to 6.00 pm) - Total 110 hours course
Maximum number of participants is 30
Course Flow Morning session lectures (3 hrs), Afternoon session practical (5 hrs)

Details of Course The course consists of Theory sessions (1/3), Practical sessions (2/3) of the total
duration. Hand’s on experience for individuals on network components and servers.
The lab sessions are conducted in the well equipped networking lab.

4. Inter-networking Operating System (IOS)
5. IP Routing (RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF)
6. Layer 2 Switching (STP, VLANs)
7. Network Security (Firewall, ACL, IDS)
8. Wireless Technologies
9. WAN (HDLC, PPP, FR) and VPN
10. DNS, DHCP, NAT
11. Microsoft Windows Server 2003
12. Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure
13. Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
14. Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006 (ISA)
15. WAMP (Apache, MySQL, PHP)
