The School of Social Work at Boise State University invites applicants for a position as the MSW Program Coordinator at
the Associate Professor level. The Coordinator will teach in our CSWE-accredited BSW and MSW programs starting in
spring or fall 2012. This is a 10-month academic calendar appointment.

Duties include:
    Versatility and ability to coordinate a substantial MSW program with an on-campus program and three off-site
       programs
    Teaching across the curriculum in an integrated program serving undergraduate and graduate students
    Research and scholarly activities
    Student advising, active participation on school and university committees
    Service to the social work profession, the community, and the State of Idaho

At a minimum you should have:
     Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Social Work or a related field and an MSW from a CSWE accredited program
     Candidates must have leadership experience, preferably as a BSW or MSW coordinator or chair
     The candidate must demonstrate strong classroom teaching and an ongoing record of research and scholarly
       publication.

The preferred candidate will have:
    Macro practice, policy and research teaching experience
    Practice experience working with individuals and families in the field of mental health, gerontology, health care,
      or child welfare
    Two years post-MSW direct-practice experience

Salary is competitive based on qualifications and experience.

The School of Social Work at Boise State University invites applicants for a tenure-track position as an
Assistant or Associate Professor to teach in our CSWE-accredited BSW and MSW programs starting in Fall 2012. Salary
is competitive based on qualifications and experience.

Duties Include:
    Teaching across the curriculum in an integrated program serving undergraduate and graduate students
    Research and scholarly activities
    Student advising, active participation on school and university committees
    Service to the social work profession, the community, and the State of Idaho

At a minimum candidates should have:
     Ph.D. in Social Work or a related field, or have an earned doctorate by August 2012.
     An MSW from a CSWE accredited program
     Demonstrate a record of or strong potential for classroom teaching and an ongoing record of research and
       scholarly publication commensurate with rank.

The preferred candidate will have:
    An MSW and two years post-MSW direct practice experience.
    Teaching expertise in the areas of research and statistics, social welfare policy, and macro practice.

social services and to several major international corporations. The area affords easy access to rivers, mountains, and
lakes. The scenic Boise River flows through campus. Excellent alpine and Nordic skiing are only 45 minutes away. The
Boise State Morrison Center for Performing Arts hosts the Boise Philharmonic, the Boise Opera Company, the American
Festival Ballet and Broadway musical touring companies. The Idaho Shakespeare Festival performs a full summer season
