The Edoceos Range
A perfect design for a unique product
The Edoceos look : anodised aluminium front on a veneered wooden
casket.
The style is minimalist and clean, cleverly mixing classicism and
modernism and thus bringing a touch of luxurious yet simple
elegance.
Every product is a unique design.
Out of respect for the environment, Edoceos uses only components
that conform to the RoHS norm.
DAC D-1/24 bit audio converter
Presented inside a wooden and aluminium casing, the DAC D-1,
a 24 bit analog/digital converter equipped with high performance
professional circuits, offers a rare precision audio quality to the
purists.
Stereo audio preamplifier
The stereo audio preamplifier has the same elegant design as
the DAC. The preamplifier is equipped with symetrical and
asymetrical line-in/line-out sockets, with a digital
potentiometer with resistance network, a headphone socket
and a remote control. It is due to be released early 2007 (in
the 1st semester of 2007)
Stereo audio amplifier
Of matching design the stereo audio amplifier uses 2x120 W.
It will be on the market during the 1st semester of 2007.

Edoceos provides technical support and guarantees maintenance on
all its products for life.

Setup and tuning instructions for the DAC D-1
Connections
Connecting to a CD player
Using a 75 ohms RCA coaxial cable connect the digital coaxial line-
out socket of the CD player to the digital line-in socket of the DAC
D-1.
There is no need for further tuning as the DAC D-1 will
automatically recognise the incoming signal.
The converted signals can then be picked up directly from the
analog out connector sockets of the DAC D-1. These are connected
to the amplifier by a pair of RCA modulation cables.
The amplifier or preamplifier can then be connected to the chosen
device via one of its free sockets: for example AUX or CD.
Connecting to a DVD player
Using a 75 ohms RCA coaxial cable, connect the digital coaxial line-
out socket of the DVD player to the digital coaxial line-in socket of
the DAC D-1.
The DVD player will require further fine tuning.
The converted signals can then be picked up directly from the
analog line-out sockets of the DAC D-1 which have to be plugged
into an amplifier with RCA modulation cables.
The amplifier can then be connected to the chosen device via one of
its free sockets: for example AUX or DVD.
Tuning
When connecting to a CD player
When plugged into a CD player the DAC D-1 does not require fine
tuning to obtain perfect sound quality. The sampling frequency is
picked up and its oversampling value is automatically adjusted to
obtain optimal sound quality.
When connecting to a DVD player
The DAC D-1 is built to receive/work with sampling frequencies
ranging between 25 and 96 khz. This means you can plug it to a
DVD player and listen to audio CDs as well as audio DVDs and video
DVDs.

No tuning necessary. The DAC D-1 adjusts/tunes up automatically.

Listening to a video DVD from a DVD player
Select the PCM stereo option from the disk menu. If the disk does
not have the PCM stereo option, adjust the DVD player audio
settings so as to convert the tracks available on the disk to PCM.
Check your DVD player installation manual for further information
as not all DVD players offer this option.

From high fidelity to ecofriendly
Edoceos treats the respect of the environment as essential.
As well as using wood as part of its materials, all the components
used in its products are fully recyclable and adhere strictly to the
RoSH norm. (the European norm on the restriction of dangerous
substances, especially lead and mercury).

Dac D-1
From digital perfection to pure emotion
Nestled in a simple veneered wooden casket associated with an
aluminium front, the DAC D-1 will surprise the most demanding
music lovers with its superb sound quality.
Its faithful, accurate, non-aggressive rendering of sound enhances
both the sound quality of voices, instruments, resonance as well as
the stereo impact and depth of sound.
The DAC D-1 will allow fervent music lovers to delve back into their
music collections and relive intense emotions thanks to an
exceptionally precise sound quality.
Technology at the service of high fidelity
The DAC D-1 converter combines a s/pdif low jitter interface which
resynchronises the CD player signals.
The signals are digitally filtered and the data are converted from 16
to 24 bit. They are then redirected towards 2 converters (one in
each channel), amplified and finally emitted via two RCA sockets.
The power is boosted to be more reliable and more efficient.
