According to Public Policy Polling, "part of Cain's rise is because Republican voters are comfortable with where he stands ideologically." If, on the other hand, Republican voters view Cain as a "Main Street" candidate with solutions who can turn around the economy like he turned around businesses he inherited that many thought would go bankrupt, he may threaten Romney in a topsy-turvy cycle that in which Republican voters are rebelling against the political establishment and politicians associated with the so-called ruling class.
