Y88888P The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you. BB King For the sake of speed, I'm going to assume that you know how to install Oblivion and the Construction Set. TES4Edit is a little trickier, so I'll walk you through it. For those who have figured it out, you can skip ahead a bit. 1.) Extract TES4Edit.exe and TES4Edit.modgroups to your root Oblivion directory, in the same folder as Oblivion.exe. 2.) For Windows XP, create a file in C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR NAME]\Local Settings\Application Data\Oblivion called Plugins.txt, containing the text "Oblivion.esm" Now that that's done with, we can have some fun. Open up The Elder Scrolls Construction Set. When it loads, go up to Characters --> Races. Choose one of the playable races (I went with Imperial), right click it, and go down to "Duplicate". Rename the Editor ID and Name to Giantess, or Giant, or whatever you want, just as long as they don't conflict with any other races. You can alter the base attributes if you like while you're here, or you can leave it for later. Save the file as whatever you want, as long as you'll remember it. Now fire up TES4Edit. Open up the file you just created. Scroll down a bit, just until you find the word height. Change the height values. You can go anywhere between 0.1 and 100. I wouldn't recommend going much higher than that, but it might be possible. If you know what height you want to make your giantess, it's a fairly simple equation. x/6, where "x" represents the number of feet tall you want. If you get something with infinite numbers after the decimal point, just round off to the nearest millionth (.000000), and plug that bastard in. Be sure to adjust the weight accordingly, or you'll wind up with something that looks like a cross between Ichabod Craine and Jack Skellington. It will mention something about editing a module file, but you can go ahead. After all, that's what we're here for. If you didn't do it before, you can edit the base attributes and race description here, or don't. Now we can fire up Oblivion. From the launcher, go to Data Files, and click the little box near whatever you named your file. Start it up. I recommend that you go into a previously saved game where you're outdoors, or you're going to have to run through the tutorial before you can see if it worked. First, take off all your items, then put this into the console: "showracemenu". Choose the race you just made, and enjoy life forever. .o88b. d8P Y8 8P 8b Y8b d8 `Y88P' .d88b. .8P Y8. 88 88 88 88 `8b d8' `Y88P' d8b db d888888b .d8b. 888o 88 `~~88~~' d8' `8b 88V8o 88 88 88ooo88 88 V8o88 88 88~~~88 88 V888 88 88 88 VP V8P YP YP YP .o88b. d888888b d8P Y8 `~~88~~' 8P 88 8b 88 Y8b d8 88 `Y88P' YP The internet is like a big circus tent full of scary, boring creatures and pornography. - Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka If there's something that you feel I haven't made clear, or if you want to know where to find more detailed modding tutorials, or if you want to thank me, you can reach me at raan0001@yahoo.com. Be sure to include "Oblivion Giantess" in the subject line so I know what the hell's going on.
