How to Make Note Cards
While writing note cards from sources,
keep these guidelines in mind:
1. Write only on the front of cards.
2. ONLY take NOTES on one idea.
3. ONE HEADING per card - write the
heading at
the top of
4. Write the source # on the bottom of the
card. This # is from the top right hand corner of your source
card) you may have several note cards from the SAME SOURCE
5. Use short sentences OR bullets
6. Use quotation marks for exact quotations.
7. Give exact page number(s) for print
