January 2006
Dear 1996 Classmate:
Sunday, August 30, 1992: The class of 1996 arrives on campus. Sunday, May 2, 1996 (December
1995 or 1996 for some): the class of 1996 departs Concordia College as alumni. In between were
Reunion Gift Committee years of incredible memories, friendships, learning and growing up (at least for some of us).
Class of 1996
Co-Chairs:
Today, we’re in our thirties and most of us desperately need an excuse to relive our glory days, if
Kari (Walrath) Ehlers not an excuse just to stay up past 10:00 p.m. Mark your calendars for October 13-15, 2006 and
Ted Horan make plans to come back to Concordia for homecoming. It’s our 10-year class reunion and we
Joe Lindell intend to make it a reunion worth attending. You will receive a letter in February from our class
Kara (Fleharty) Schultz agent, Liesl (Irwin) Bell with all of the details.
Committee Members:
Jeff Amann In the meantime, you will be receiving a call from a classmate or a current Concordia student to
Liesl Bell, Class Agent make sure you are taking our invitation seriously. This individual will also be calling to talk with
Jon Birkeland you about reunion giving. Our 10th reunion is a great excuse for some serious reminiscing. And,
Bryan Christianson
Natalie Diehl
as you reflect on the experiences you had at Concordia, we encourage you to consider an annual
Amy (Swanson) Haugo gift to the college.
Sara (Kjelstrup) Jacobson
Dani (Moen) Johnson Our gifts to C-400 Annual Giving support the excellent programs and opportunities we
Lynette (Tiberg) Kroll experienced. Perhaps most importantly, our gifts support scholarships that make it possible for
Ann (Lanning) Christianson
Heather (Hauschild) LeMoine students today to attend Concordia. Furthermore, our gifts also ensure that Concordia will
Jennifer (Harms) Likes continue to recruit and retain outstanding faculty.
Tim Lowry
Matt Meek In honor of our reunion, we are inviting each member of our class to consider a gift at the C-400
Eric and Liz (Schultz) Nuytten
Nathan Quello
Investor level - an annual gift of $400. Of course, Concordia greatly appreciates any gift that is
Garth Rydland meaningful to you. When you get the call, we hope you will say yes and help us achieve our class
Chad Solvie goal of 50% participation each fiscal year.
Blake Swenson
Mike and Katie (Muir) We look forward to seeing you at our reunion in October. Until then, be well and keep in touch!
