Smile.

Live life my way.

We all have goals. Some of us have endless to-do lists that spell

out our everyday tasks. Or we have big dreams, like wanting to

make a difference in our world. We all have things we want to

achieve, and so do the more than 1,000 people we serve every year.

A woman with developmental disabilities wants to see a Broadway

musical. A teenager in a Kerr group home wants to get an after-

school job and learn to live on his own someday. A family wants to

see their daughter stop hurting herself and start healing. A young

boy in foster care wants to live with his mother again.

The examples are countless. Together, all of us are helping to make

these dreams possible. Whether you give your time, resources

or ideas to Kerr, you are helping us reach our ultimate goal—

a community where every child with emotional or mental health

challenges has an opportunity to heal and where every person with

developmental disabilities has the chance to lead a rich, full life.

At Albertina Kerr Centers, you could say we are in the business of reaching goals.

We work with children and families faced with mental or emotional challenges so they can grow

up safe and healthy. We offer care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities so

they can reach their full potential.

Together with the community, we are creating new possibilities every day.

So to all the donors, volunteers, staff, families and community members, we say “thank you.” And

we aren’t done yet. In fact, we need you now more than ever. As you’ll read in the pages ahead,

we are reaching goals every day. But we also have ambitious plans for the future.

We are confident that together we can face the challenges and needs of our growing community.

We hope you will continue to join us as we build a better future for all Oregonians.
