Welcome to the PS&R Trailside Dog Park
This park is a place for fun. If your dog is having a bad day and not
playing well with others, please take him home to avoid problems.
The same goes for you humans!
The following Dog Park Rules are set in accordance with the Great
Falls City Ordinances—Chapter 6, Title 6.08. Failure to comply may
result in a legal citation and/or fine.
1. All use of the dog park is at the visitor’s own risk.
2. City parks, including the dog park, are open from dawn to dusk.
3. Dog owners are responsible for the actions of their dogs at all
times (Section 6.8.1005). Dogs will not be held responsible for
the behavior of their humans.
4. Please keep your dog in your sight and under control.
5. Poop Happens…..Please use the bags and receptacles provided to
remove all evidence. Violators will be reminded of their
responsibility and may be fined. (Section 6.8.1100)
6. All dogs must have a current rabies vaccination and a tag
indicating such. (Section 6.8.1030)
7. Dogs who reside in Great Falls must be registered and wear a
registration tag or be micro chipped. (Section 6.8.1040)
8. Playing dogs can get rowdy and pose some risk. Please be very
cautious for the safety of young children who accompany you.
Having young children in the park is not recommended.
9. Dogs should never be left unattended inside the dog park.
10. Dogs must be leashed when outside fenced areas. (Section
6.8.1150)
11. Although leashes are removed in the holding area before
entering the play area, please keep one with you in case you need
to control your dog.
12. Aggressive dogs (Section 6.8.1150), female dogs in heat, puppies
less than four months old and habitually rude people are all
prohibited from using the park.
