Materials: word cards, pictures, powerpoints
Procedure: (Part I)
I. Greetings (1 min)
Warm-up: Show the pictures of each zodiac.
T: What’s this? S: ...
T: How many animals did you see?
Ss: Twelve.
T: Yes, they are the twelve zodiacs of China.
II. 1. T: Each zodiac stands for each year. Such as the year 2010, we can also say it’s a Tiger year.
What year is the other years called? Ss: answer the question according to the twelve zodiac
orders.
T: Every twelve years is a cycle. 2010 is a tiger year, which year is also called tiger year?
Ss: answer the question.
Group work: Teacher asks the students to write out the years in accordance with each
