GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT
Location and date:
The Seminar will be held on 27-28 September 2011, Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Participation:
All persons wishing to participate in the conference are requested to register online or by e-mail in advance.
After receiving an application for participation in the seminar, the applicant will be sent a Participation Form
and, if relevant, an instruction for paper submission and visa support form.

Format:
The Seminar program will compose of invited presentations. All contributions will be refereed for technical
merit and content by the Program Committee on the basis of the extended abstracts submitted by authors. Main
criteria for paper acceptance are originality, significance of presented results, quality and completeness of the
abstracts.
Presentations will conform to a 20-minute format (including 5 minutes for discussions).
All papers for publication (abstracts, full text papers) are to be submitted in English and in Russian (optional).
Abstracts and Paper submission:
Abstracts should not exceed 100 lines. The deadline for abstracts is July 15, 2011.
Authors are requested to submit their contributions as an attached file in MS Word to the following email
addresses: sacsem@istc.ru or pankratova@istc.ru.
Please use Times New Roman font (10 points) and paper size A4 (210x297 mm) with the following format:
- title, author(s), affiliation;
- an abstract in English of about 1000 words.
Upon the request the Instructions for paper preparation could be sent to authors by e-mail. They will be also
available on the Seminar web site together with registration forms, preliminary program and other related
information.
Publications:
A book of abstracts will be published by the beginning of the Seminar and provided to the participants during
registration.

The deadline for abstracts is 15 July 2011.
The full text presentation should be sent to the Organizing Committee via e-mail by 10 September 2011.

Participants are to be accommodated in the hotel - World Hotel Saltanat (Almaty) www.worldhotelsaltanat.com
Hotel reservation requests should be submitted not later then 25 July 2011.

The official languages are English and Russian. Simultaneous translation service will be provided at all sessions.
