Call Meeting to Order 10:09 AM. .
Approval of Agenda and Minutes: Rita Harmon 1st, Judy Lindholm 2nd. All approved
TREASURER’S REPORT: Not sure what income will come from WURTA from the Fall Conference.
There was such good sponsorship it should be a good turn around. Traci 1st,
Connie 2nd. All approved.
CHAIR REPORT: Discussed taking information from the old brochures and putting it on the web
site.
Goals for each Committee: Each committee is to come up with at least 2-3 goals and email them to Peggy
Jones before November 6, 2009 for inclusion in the Agenda by Jackie Bodette
for the next meeting..
Responsibilities of Regional Reps: Will discuss at next meeting
Update Members/Board Listing: Has been updated to reflect the newly appointed board members and regions as
designated by DOT.
Mobility Manager’s Invitation: Will postpone currently.
Discussion on Regular Was decided to have monthly meetings per teleconference. Next meeting will be
Meeting/Teleconference: on November 6, 2009 and then a face-to-face meeting on December 11, 2009 at
10:00 am.
Spring Training: Phil made a motion to have the Spring Training/Roadeo at the Patriot Center,
Judy Lindholm 2nd . All approved. Event will take place on June 10-12, 2010
versus Northwestern Technical Institute.
Website: List in Grass Roots the change in the web address for WRAPP. Put a note in
there announcing the Spring Conference/Roadeo to hold the dates and check our
website for updates. Also need to list the following on the web site:

Legislative: DHS hired Catherine Fisher to help move the transportation management project
along.

ORGANIZATIONAL UPDATES
CTED: On November 2-4, UWM will have the Passenger Assistance: Certification for
Trainers course (SCE), and on November 9-10, the Fundamentals of Public
Transit course in Milwaukee. 80% RTAP scholarship available for WI rural
transit providers. Still not too late to register! :-)
Also, the RTAP funded Advanced Defensive Driving course will be offered next
spring (in April), and 100% RTAP scholarship available for WI rural transit
providers.
DOT: Applications for 5311 and associated ARRA projects are due this Thursday
(10/15), STRAP and New Freedom are currently being evaluated, 5307 apps are
due on 11/15, 85.21 on 12/30 and 5310 on 2/1/2010. It is likely that WETAP
projects for 2009 will receive continuing funding for 2010. We may be able to
add some staff for 5311 and 5310 over the next few months.
