ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT TEST
2011 - 2012
The Chaffey Adult School will be administering the Academic Assessment Test to persons applying for
instructional aide positions in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District and surrounding elementary
school districts.
If you are interested in preparing for the test, classes will be held in room J-4 at the Chaffey Adult School
Center, 1802 E. Seventh Street in Ontario (Seventh Street and Vineyard Avenue) from 6:00-9:00 P.M.
These classes are very helpful in becoming prepared for the test.
The test is divided into two sections: English and Mathematics. Cost of the test will be $20.00 payable
in cash or money order.
Class sessions and testing dates will be as follows:
Session 1 Registration: September 12 - 23
Class Session: September 27 -- English Review
September 28 -- Math Review
Testing Date: September 29 -- English and Math tests
Session 2 Registration: November 7 - 18
Class Session: November 29 -- English Review
November 30 -- Math Review
Testing Date: December 1 -- English and Math tests
Session 3 Registration: January 30 - February 10
Class Session: February 14 -- English Review
February 15 -- Math Review
Testing Date: February 16 -- English and Math tests
Session 4 Registration: February 27 – March 8
Class Session: March 13 -- English Review
March 14 -- Math Review
Testing Date: March 15 -- English and Math tests
Session 5 Registration: April 9 - 20
Class Session: April 24 -- English Review
April 25 -- Math Review
Testing Date: April 26 -- English and Math tests
