August 2011     Principals or designated school administrators should access their AP Course Audit accounts to
                renew 2010-11 previously authorized courses for the new school year. Teachers of new AP
                courses should be encouraged to participate in the AP Course Audit if they haven't already done

September       AP Scholar Awards and AP International Diploma notifications are sent to students.

September       Schools receive annual AP participation materials.

September 15,   Deadline for ordering free-response booklets from the 2011 AP Exam administration.

October 2011    Schools complete the annual AP participation materials and designate their AP Coordinators.



October 2011    Rebate checks are mailed to AP Coordinators who administered at least 150 exams in 2011.



October 2011    Free-response booklets for the 2011 AP Exam administration are sent to schools that have
                ordered them.



October 2011    Studio Art posters are mailed to schools to the attention of the AP Studio Art teacher.



October 31,     Deadline for students to request Multiple-Choice Rescore Service for the 2011 AP Exam

November        2011 State and National Summary Reports and the Canadian Summary Report are posted online.

November        AP Course Ledger of authorized 2011-12 AP courses is available on the Web.

November 15,    Deadline for schools to return the AP Participation Form and Participation Survey.

December        The AP Program begins to mail the AP Coordinator's Manual, a supply of the Bulletin for AP
2011            Students and Parents (available in English and, by request, in Spanish or large-type), and other
                information to schools that have submitted their Participation Forms.

December         Principals receive the PSAT/NMSQT® Roster of Student Scores and Plans, which includes the
2011             AP Potential™ access code.



December         AP Potential becomes available this month. Schools should check their PSAT/NMSQT Roster of

January 2012     AP Coordinators receive an email containing exam ordering information and can begin ordering
                 exams online.

February 24,     Deadline for submitting complete disability documentation for students with disabilities.

March 2012       Schools may begin submitting AP Course Audit materials for new courses offered in 2012-13.



March 4, 2012    Deadline for submitting complete accommodations requests for students with disabilities when
                 additional documentation is not required.



March 2012       Orders are placed for preadministration materials:

                      Orders placed by March 14 will be delivered by April 6.
                      Orders placed between March 15 and April 4 will be delivered by April 16.


March 30, 2012   Priority deadline for schools to order AP Exams. Submit orders by this date to ensure timely
                 processing and delivery.



April 2012       AP Coordinators receive and check exam materials. Coordinators must provide Student Packs
                 (or, alternatively, AP numbers and copies of the college code list) to AP Studio Art students as
                 soon as possible after receiving exam shipments. Students will need this information when
                 submitting their portfolios online.

                 Exams. Each order received after this date incurs a $50 late fee (excluding alternate exam
                 orders).



April 13, 2012   Extension deadline for schools in the United States, U.S. territories, and Canada to order AP
                 Exams. Each order received after this date incurs a $50 late fee (excluding alternate exam
                 orders).



April 13, 2012   Final deadline for schools outside the United States, U.S. territories, and Canada to order AP
                 Exams. No orders will be accepted after this date.



April 20, 2012   Final deadline for schools in the United States, U.S. territories, and Canada to order AP Exams.
                 No orders will be accepted after this date.



April 27, 2012   Schools outside the United States, U.S. territories, and Canada receive shipments of regular
                 exams no later than this date if exam orders were placed on or before April 13.



April 30, 2012   Schools in the United States, U.S. territories, and Canada receive shipments of regular exams no
                 later than this date if exam orders were placed on or before April 20.



May 7-11 and     Regularly scheduled AP Exams are administered. See Exam Dates for the complete schedule.
14-18, 2012



May 11, 2012     Deadline for schools in Canada and the U.S. territories and schools outside the United States and
                 U.S. territories to order alternate exams for late testing. Coordinators should call AP Services if an
                 emergency occurs after this date.



May 13, 2012     Deadline for colleges to order Internet Delivery of Scores to receive scores via the Web in July.
                 Requests received after May 13 will be accommodated with follow-up score reporting.



May 18, 2012     Deadline for schools in the United States to order alternate exams for late testing. Coordinators
                 should call AP Services if an emergency occurs after this date.



May 23-25,       Alternate AP Exams are administered. See the late-testing schedule for complete details.

June 2012        AP Exams are scored.

June 1, 2012    Preferred submission date for new 2012-13 AP courses to ensure inclusion in the November AP
                Course Ledger.



June 1, 2012    Deadline for AP Services to receive all exam materials. Schools are billed twice the fee for each
                exam in shipments received after this date.



June 15, 2012   Postmark deadline for exam payments and invoices submitted to AP Services. Late payments
                incur a $200 fee.



June 15, 2012   Deadline for AP Services to receive student letters to change college score report recipients and
                withhold scores for current year's exam administration. Students may cancel scores at any time,
                but June 15 is the deadline for canceling scores before the release of 2012 AP score reports.



June 15, 2012   Deadline for colleges and universities to change the score reporting services ordered the
                previous year.



July 2012       AP score reports are provided to designated colleges, students, and their high schools.



July 1, 2012    Scores by Phone and Additional Score Reports by Phone services are available for the current
                year's administration.



July 18-22,     2012 AP Annual Conference takes place in Orlando.
