WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT
Information:
Weddings are published on Sunday in the Accent section of the Dothan Eagle for $35.
Only information requested on the form will be published. The Eagle reserves the right to edit announce-
ments.
The price of the announcement includes a photo, which must be at least 3” x 5”. The photo may be color,
black and white or sepia tone. We will crop and adjust the photo for publication.
If you would like your photo returned, enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope with the submission or
pick up the photo on the Monday after publication from our front desk.
Your printed announcement will be very similar to the submitted form. Please keep this in mind when com-
pleting the form.
Instructions:
Announcements MUST be typed. If an announcement is handwritten, the Eagle is not responsible for errors
in publication due to unclear handwriting.
If a person listed is deceased, please designate them as "the late" and include both first and last names.
Descriptions of wedding attire, songs, fraternity brother or sorority sister designations will not be included.
Complete ALL boxed sections on this and following pages.
For sections that include a choice of options, please circle the option which applies, i.e. “his/her/their” be-
comes “their.”
If a section does not apply, please mark it as N/A.
Submission Guidelines:
Deadline is 5 p.m. Monday for the following Sunday. Announcements must be submitted in full, with text,
photo and payment, by the Monday prior to your preferred publication date.
We prefer that you submit announcements via e-mail to mlouradour@dothaneagle.com.
If you cannot return the form by e-mail, you may deliver them to our office at 227 North Oates St. in Dothan
or mail them: Attn: Marja, Dothan Eagle, P.O. Box 1968, Dothan, AL 36302. Announcements should be de-
livered on a disk whenever possible.
