Manager In Training Program 09/10
Apply today with Dining Services, and you could be chosen for the “M.I.T.” (Manager In Training) program,
and be eligible for free books for the spring 2010 semester. By applying for this program, you will have the
opportunity to work for Dining Services. Throughout the fall 2009 semester you will have the chance to
“show your stuff” as you become experienced in many areas of the department. Ten applicants will then be
chosen for this program during which they will have an opportunity to develop professional skills including
time management, leadership, and teamwork, and improve their culinary skills as well. All Dining Services
employees, though, have an equal opportunity to qualify for scholarship opportunities sponsored by the Dining
Services department. Wages start at $7.25 per hour, with an extra dollar per hour for weekend work!
Parameters:
1. Fill out the reverse side of this form completely. This form may also be accessed on our web page at
http://www.etown.edu/dineserv/ , filled out, and return emailed as an attachment to Sherry Dunbar,
dunbarsl@etown.edu. The completed form can also be returned to the Dining Services table at
Orientation or faxed directly to the department at 717-361-1540. Forms MUST BE RETURNED to
Dining Services no later than Wednesday, June 24th.
2. Applicants must agree to work both spring 2010 and fall 2010 semester, 10 hours per week per
semester minimum.
3. ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE OFFERED A JOB WITH DINING SERVICES!
