Congratulations to all our members for what has
been a very successful season. It is obvious that
the training and dedication put in by our
competitors, coaches and parents has paid off in
the results that you have all achieved. Lennox
made up the majority of the FNC Interbranch
team that was the best performing country team
at the titles.
At the Country Championships we retained our
junior winner’s trophy and our open competitors
took our club to a new level, helping us to
second place overall in point score. We have
had magnificent results at all our local carnivals
as well as having great success at the “Oceans
Assault” carnivals in Queensland.
I would like to wish all our competitors who are
going on to represent the Club at the State Titles
at Swansea Belmont and the Aussie Titles in
Perth the very best of luck.
Finally, the decision to purchase a senior gear
trailer will only enhance our club and make the

A big thank you goes to our Lennox officials -
John Beasley, Gordon McNaughton, Geoff

Aussie Day
Around 50 Club members, friends and families
braved the dreadful morning weather of
Australia Day 2009 to join the rowers at a
gathering at the Richmond River Ballina.
Many attendees seized the opportunity to have a
