ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Job Applicants tentatively selected for positions will be required to submit
to criminal, credit history, and general background checks which will be evaluated by the agency prior to a final
offer of employment. Length of tour: 12 MONTHS
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This vacancy announcement is for Active Duty Operational Support
(ADOS) for GA Army National Guardsmen. Individuals should be aware that the position is contingent upon
continued funding and may be terminated without notice.
SECURITY SCREENING APPLICATION: Applicants MUST INCLUDE a security screening

1. Background and Brief Description:
a) Plan, coordinate and execute all aspects of the Yellow Ribbon Program. Become the “subject
matter expert” in regard to ARNG Reunion/Reintegration activities and wellbeing programs within
their assigned area of responsibility.
b) Assist the command leadership in providing all required briefing in each phase of the
c) Identify individuals requiring monitoring, follow-up or referral and coordinate with the
appropriate internal points of contact to ensure necessary care/actions are provided/taken.
Coordinate with state Family Assistance Centers for referral.
d) Provide necessary assistance to units and/or individuals to ensure accomplishment of all
DCS tasks during the appropriate phases of the deployment cycle.
e) Provide assistance to Rear Detachment Commanders in identifying and following through
on family programs issues, single returnee, R&R leave, emergency leave, and medical holds/issues.
Identify potential family issues awaiting returning Soldier, identify family members who have
experienced significant problems (financial, emotional and relational) during the deployment and
ensure RDCs are informed.
f) In conjunction with FRSAs serve, as the conduit for command information and coordination
pertaining to Yellow Ribbon throughout the command. With command guidance, develops the
Commander’s Reunion and Reintegration communication plan which includes a rigorous Family

3. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: As a minimum the following forms and documents are required
from all applicants:
a) Completed DA FORM 1058-R original signature.
b) Current PHA (Periodic Health Assessment) NO MEDPROS PRINTOUT
c) DA 705 (PT Card) with Current APFT score and Height/Weight (if exceeds weight table
must include Body Fat Worksheet)
d) Applicable three (3) most recent OERs/NCOERs or E4 Word Pictures, include a
memorandum for any missing OERs/NCOERs/E4 Word Pictures which explain their
e) NGB FORM 23b(RPAM), DD Form (s) 214 and/or DD Form(s) 220 - Within 6 months of
start date with no more than 17 years of Active Duty Service.
f) Memo from ASSIGNED UNIT to verify that you are not under any Flagging Action.
