Who is TAHO? __________________ ______
Recognized as one of the most creative producer for the last 10 years, Taho is well known for his Hypnotic Drive, Jazzy
Chords, and Hi Tech Soul Atmospheres and yet Dynamic and Powerful beats, he is a one of a kind! His ability to take the
audience to higher states of consciousness is just out of this world! The audience never knows what to expect, getting higher
and higher, while Taho surfs with ability in genres and influences (Dub, House, Rock, Jazz, Techno, Classical, World Music etc).
The international and acclaimed artist recently appears on Ministry of Sound and Global Underground compilations thanks
to Dubfire, François K and Techno Godfather Derrick May who compiled his productions. His last opus on Josh Wink's
imprint Ovum got him in the Top 10 Big Tunes in Mixmag.
Over the years Taho performed all over the world in cities like Paris, Amsterdam, Hambourg, Amersfoort, Utrecht, Delft,
Rotterdam, Brussel, London, Toronto, Moscow, Papeete (Tahiti), Barcelone, Fraga, Oviedo, Lille etc... always transmitting the
sound of another world!
Discovered by Laurent Garnier in 1995, Taho signed two wonderful Detroit influenced Eps on the famous French label F
communications and was acclaimed by the international press, often compared as the French Mad Mike at the age of 19
only.
He then created his own label Lumina and drew the attention of Carl Cox with the techno killer track ―Mutant fights the
creature‖ who compiled it in Dance Valley 98. The track is still charted 10 years later and played by Derrick May, Dimitri,
100% Isis, Greg Gow and many more international DJs!
Taho's music has always been strongly supported by international DJs like Pete Tong, Gilles Peterson, Carl Cox, Josh Wink,
Dubfire, Marco Bailey, Shlomi Aber, Satoshi Tomiie, D'Julz, DJ Yellow, Angel Molina, DJ Bone, Dan Corto, DJINX,
Colin Dale, Fred Carreira, Fabrice Lig, Vince Watson, DJ Deep and more...
His productions have been and are still played on major radios like Radio 1, Kiss FM (now Kiss 100), Fun Radio, Radio
Nova, Radio FG and many more...
Many time his work appeared as Eps of the month in Mixmag, Coda, DJ mag, Trax, Only for DJs and more.
Taho is creating a new sound, giving a new life to Deep Techno, Hi Tech Jazz, House and Electronica, proving that Spiritual and
Melodic Techno can make you sweat on the dance floor and he knows how to do that like nobody else.
Influences:________________________ ___
Bathed in a musical Universe since he‘s a child, rocked by some Vangélis while passing by some Miles Davis, his music has been
for long time influenced by the sound of Mad Mike, Basic Channel, The Orb, or the song «Acid eiffel » by Ludovic Navarre,
Shazz and Laurent Garnier.
His influences widened daily across some music like Reggae (Mad professor, Peter Tosh, Lee Perry…), the latino music (Suzana
Baca, Bebel Gilberto), world music…
Classical and ambient music (Steve Roach, Jean Michel Jarre, Vir Unis, Vidna Obmana, Gioari) are the main references for the
harmonics compositions of Taho. The German music of Maurizio, with his subliminal melodies, inspire a lot the weave
background of his compositions.

VERTIGE EP___________
SLAP / Juin 95
Intelligent techno from the wind-swept coast of France, made by an eighteen-year-old kid. This should prove
the old saying that age ain‘t nothin‘ but a number, because the music is mature and well thought out. Instead
of a random bleeping noises or knob twiddling, there are sweeping strings and sytnhs over quick yet mellow
beats. Some of it sounds like CJ Bolland (―Olympus Mons‖), other tracks dip into calm waters (―Love Planet‖,
but all are high quality and worth playing.

FRONT PAGE / 95
Was den
Seite wird bei ―Amazing world‖ versucht, dieses euphorische Trancefeeling a ufzubauen, was teilweise

A dix sept ans j‘ai voulu me faire produire.
On paut fabuler toutes sortes d‘histoires
dessus.

The formidable Taho turns in a brillantly uncompromising twelve for F Communications wich merges the rough
with the smooth and the beauty with the dark side (just like Mike Banks with his Red Planet series). ―Zia‖
grooves like ―Mindwalker‖ from Red Planet 6‖ while ―Deva‖ picks uo the tempo with a dazzling power-jazz work-
out and ―Jazzy J‖ is like Galaxy 2 Galaxy‘95. Not much more can be said. Total techno genius.

this pages but the groovinss of ―Jazy J‖ deserves respect whoever made it. A future masterpiece.

original, it‘s true, ut by the time the surging synth have swept you away,it doesn‘t matter.

Par Vincent Borel
Focus artiste
« A l‘époque j‘aimais bien

Puis on arrive à Jazzy
You know what to
do.

"After early attention on F-Communications and the recent return on Adrenogroov, Sub Static brings Taho back
with this release. It's clear that he lost his heart in Detroit, thus the tracks are just sparkling of melodic
escapades and the right portion of lovely kitsch. However the track "Matter" turns out to be quite a sturdy floor
smasher with an incomparable atmosphere. The B-side "Butterfly" is all blissful peaks of melody and
continuously condensing harmonies."

OH, THIS IS LUSH! I'M ASSUMING THAT THIS IS THE SAME TAHO THAT USED TO
RECORD ON F COMMUNICATIONS BECAUSE IT HAS THE SAME SENSE OF MELODY,
DETROIT-NESS AND GENERALLY BEAUTIFUL TECHNO VIBES AS HIS OLD STUFF. THE
A-SIDE IS TAILORED SLIGHTLY MORE TO SUB STATIC'S SOUND WITH A BUMPY LITTLE
BEAT, BUT IT'S THE B-SIDE THAT REALLY DOES IT FOR ME. A LONG, BEATLESS INTRO
WITH A DELECTABLE CHORD SEQUENCE AND WONDERFUL LITTLE SOUNDS AND INCIDENTAL
NOISES WHICH SOUND A BIT SUENO LATINO-ESQUE. TOP, TOP QUALITY.

Ep of the month
DIGITAL DANCER _
TRAX #70 / january 2004

ATOME.COM / November 2003
After his previous releases on Adrenogroov and Sub Static, the French Parisian producer is back on his own
imprint Lumina. On this excellent EP we find three techno tracks dedicated to the dancefloor. The first one,
"Digital life Cycle", is an atmospheric longplayer where beautiful strings and melodies fly over the rhythm and
percussions. Absolutely superb. "Electronik waves" is also very deep with creative percussions and typically US
melodies and sounds. While listening to these two tracks, it's easy to think about Aril Brikha, John Tejada or
some UR releases. Finally, with "The machine" Taho goes into electro 80's techno like his compatriots Vitalic or
Agoria. Taho at his best, can't wait for his next record! Check mp3s + web bonus on Lumina web site!

(Lumina Records/Lumina 003/Venus Distribution)

‗Digital Life Cycle‘ (135) dégage une tech tribale
Pure merveille !

LUSH SOUNDS FROM TAHO ON HIS OWN LABEL. STRONG, 4/4 TECHNO SOUNDS WITH A HEALTHY
SPRINKLING OF MELODIC, DETROIT STYLE STRINGS AND A VERY FRENCH FEEL TO THE CHORDS. BUMPS
ALONG AT A FAIR OLD PACE AND KEEPS THE TRACKS ALIVE WITH CLEVER ARRANGEMENTS THAT EBB AND
FLOW THROUGHOUT. SUPERB STUFF FROM THIS UNDERRATED ARTIST.

REMIXES______ _
De:Bug / March 2004
10 remixes and some bonus tracks that Taho produced over the past year for such different labels as Thinner,
Adrenogroov and Lumina. Whoever likes this sort of sound - and that´s anyone who likes quiet detroit tracks -
will have to get this record which will also be released on vinyl (with 4 tracks less) because so far there´s never
been a record with so much Taho-sound at once. Endless smooth and quiet sounds, elegant like no other
producer and still with that dancefloor kick that doesn´t let the tracks drift into pure ambience.

Detroit ‗Under The Ocean‘, ‗The Days Of Two‘ de Kage...

CD:
THIS IS A SUPER COLLECTION OF TRACKS REMIXED BY TAHO - ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED BUT TOTALLY
TALENTED PRODUCERS OF MELODIC, BEAUTIFUL, YET GROOVING TECHNO AROUND. THIS TAKES CUTS BY
BLAMSTRAIN, MASSE/MEMOIRE, FABRICE LIG, KAGE, SIMEX AND MORE AND PUTS TOGETHER TAHO'S LUSH
REWORKINGS OF EACH OF THEM. DEEP TEXTURES, SUBBY BASSLINES, INTIRCATE 4/4 STRUCTURES AND
SUCH DELIGHTFUL USES OF MELODY IT'S HARD NOT TO LOVE THIS SOUND. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND
THIS TO ANYONE INTO DETROIT TECHNO OR, EVEN, THE DEEPER GERMAN SOUNDS. BRILLIANT STUFF.
Vinyl:
AT LAST THE VINYL VERSION OF TAHO'S STUNNING REMIX ALBUM COMES OUT AND IT'S A
DIVINE SELECTION OF PURE, WARM, LUSHLY PRODUCED TECHNO SOUNDS. I FORGET EXACTLY
WHICH ARTISTS ARE BEING MIXED BUT YOU GET A SUPERBLY DETROIT EDGED SOUND WITH
MELODIC PADS AND CHORDS AND MID PACED 4/4 BEATS. IF YOU'RE INTO HEADSPACE,
DOWNLOW OR GENERALLY LOVELY TECHNO, THIS IS FOR YOU!

What a good idea to join all the remix Taho recorded ! Its a better occasion to liste the
quality of Taho Music. Always complicated whan all the remix are on many different
labels. And here, this cd make you realize how the Taho skill for remix is big.
Alway melodic, atmospheric, really often funky ! From the original sound of Basic
Channel or Carl Craig, UR to the new sound of minimal cream. The perfect mix of the
past and future music.
I love it

Original interview in Spanish available here
Taho's presence in the production scene of the nineties did not have many marks. Mainly two, more precisely.
He was one of the first producers to integrate the cast of F-Communications, label established by Eric Morand
and Laurent Garnier in 1994 as a descending one of the Fnac Music Dance Division and considered the main
imprint of electronic music of France, native land of Taho. In 1995, the youngster, while he was 19 years old,
already had made some live PAs in raves in his country. It was the time of his first EP, "Vertige", released by
the time St. Germain and Scan X gave their first steps in the F-Comm, and that the classic "Astral Dreams", by
Laurent, got to the dancefloors. "Elle", following single to "Vertige", only came in 1998. Taho explains the
break: "It was difficult to adjust my ideas to the intentions of F-Comm". This would have been the origin of the
disruption with the label of Morand and Garnier, what it cancelled the launching of his first LP, "Amour". We've
never had access to the record, unfortunately. Already in those years the main influences of Taho had been
clear, reflected in atmospheres and soft epic oscillations of his songs, that go from melancholy to joy peaks.
Detroit techno is one of his inspirations: until today, immortal pearls as "Amazon", from the World 2 World EP,
a historical record of Underground Resistance, and the mythical "Stardancer", from Red Planet, find
correspondence in what Taho makes. It joins the dose of Detroit to the contemplative load of dub, from the
roots of Lee Perry to the enigmatic Basic Channel, of Maurizio, from Germany, what becomes clear when Taho
makes ambient. Jazz and classic music also enter in the prescription. After leaving the F-Com, in 1998, Taho
established his own label, Lumina, of sinesthesic vocation - audiovisual, more accurately. Its first single came in
the same year, but then another break happened. Only in 2003 Lumina was active again, and so was Taho,
who did not release records during all these years. Why? You can understand part of his story in the interview
to follow, which is the first time Taho talks to the Brazilian media.
» What do you consider your best EP so far?
Actually my favorite release is my album of remixes (lumina 006). I don't know if I made 1 excellent EP until
now.
Digital Dancer could be my favorite but it's only 3 songs which is too short to express myself. I'm a bit
frustrated by the vinyl format because I'd wish to put more music on an EP. With F com I liked the fact they
also used to release CDs with 1 more bonus song which wasn't on the vinyl! So 5 songs is the minimum for me
to give different moods in a release. I do prefere Albums :)
My favorite songs are "Annapurna" (f.com), "Butterfly" (sub static), "Iulia temple" (Adrenogroov) and "Digital
Life Cycle" (lumina). Putting those songs together would make a very good EP to me.
» How would you explain your preference for subliminal rather than explicit contents in your
melodies?
Subliminal melodies are more related to the subconscient part of ourselves. Our deep side tends to understand
things as one united thing. I like to make music for the soul and the spirit. Soul needs a flow of hidden
melodies exactly like the sound of a river or the waves, it's composed by millions of little drop notes and make
one sound we all love to hear :)
And I like to make some repeated sequences in my songs because it talks to my spirit. I see those sequences
like some Mandalas, there are patterns that describe an organised and clear musical drawings. Repetition
create a trance effect which calm our intellect and let our intuition feel the flow of the music. Our soul is then
enhanced. That's why I love to create some complex varations in my chords. This creates some modulations,
tensions exactly like emotions work.
My way of working consist on playing some chords and then create some nuances around, this creates new
colors around the main chords. For exemple in the song "Iulia temple" I play the chords which are composed by
only 2 basic 9th chords. Then, I add some melodies with differents synths around in the high frequencies which
brings light and color modulations. Then I play with a sequence in the mediums/basses that plays with the
different fondamentals notes of the chords and even some unusual ones. You have notes that fit more than
others which create tensions and then release the tension thanks to another note. That is the manner our soul,
emotions, feelings work. We feel thing because they change from a state to another. From a stable state to an
unbalanced one or vice-versa. The "movement" create an emotion, like a sound is created by the variation of
the air pressure...
I like to picture emotions like some waves of color on a seashore. We are this shore and emotions change us
like the sea change the shore shapes.
So complex and rich melodies create an modulated architecture that can enhance our feelings, emotions...
» Talking about producers... Whom of your contemporaries you admire the most?
Steve Roach, Vir Unis, Monolake and Gioari are for me the best musicians of the moment. They explore
rhythms patterns and harmony like nobody before.
www.steveroach.com , www.virunis.com , www.monolake.de
The best album ever made is "Blood Machine" from Steve Roach and Vir Unis. "Body electric", "Light fantastic"
are also 2 amazing albums. "Core" and "Life sequence" from Steve Roach are also very good ones! ―La lumière
des sources‖ by Gioari is for me the purest album of the planet, these two composers come from another
dimension, two genious like Mozart was !
I also admire Mad Mike and the Red Planet crew. I do love their theory. Their sound quality is not as good as
Steve Roach's productions tho.
I also have many influences like Norken or Pub for example. They make some very good music too!
» In your opinion, what were the main contributions of the dub aesthetics to techno? (as I know
you've been influenced by dub, Maurizio etc.)
Yeah, I think Basic Channel crew is the one who made this sound exist. Today Monolake continue the
experience with more glassy sounds and experimental soundscapes :)
I think people like Mad Professor, Bill Laswell or Lee Perry also made things happen. But my knowledge is
limited.
When I was a child I used to listen to "Oxygen" and "Equinox", from Jean Michel Jarre, a lot. It was modern
classical music for me. It's still 2 masterpieces today. I don't like J-M Jarre music after those 2 albums tho...
» You released on F-Communications in 1995... Was it already a big achievement to release on F-
Comm at that time? What's the importance of this label nowadays?
Yes it was something important for me at this time. A very interesting experience but we started to
misunderstand each other with Eric Morand quite quickly. I have to thank Laurent Garnier for his real support
from this time to today.
I don't really follow what F com does but I guess they are very big now. I think they release more pop things,
easy music in general.
» How did you hook up with Laurent Garnier and Eric Morand? How were those times?
It was very very interesting, I learned a lot. I sent a demo to FNAC music Dance Division just before F com was
created. Eric Morand called me to say he found this very interesting but I needed to grow a bit. I was 17 year
old and he was right, hahahahaha :D
Then I started to work more seriously on music and created "Vertige EP" one year later. I sent it and they loved
it. We signed an artist contract and I was supposed to release an album. I only made 2 EP. Then I created
Lumina because I needed more freedom.
» Why did you stop releasing on F-Comm? Why did you disappear for a while after that?
Like I said I needed more freedom and I really needed to feel apart from the scene. I didn't like this way of
thinking, I mean making music while thinking about the audience feedback in term of sales! They wanted me to
change my music so I really became crazy and created Lumina.
I release "Mutant 1er" in 1998 and finished my studies at the same time. But I wanted to learn more about
science and decided to study again. After I encounter Claire (you can see her painting on lumina web site) and
moved to Paris with her. I started to learn graphics and work in some agencies. I tried to find a distributor or a
label but nobody wanted my music. Thanks to our friend Didier Alline who started a new job at Venus
distribution, I could find a distribution deal. I also needed to save some money to be able to release and to
promote the label. So it took 5 years to be able to do that!
Now I do want to focus on selling lumina's music online. We are preparing the www.luminashop.com
and will be able to sell vinyls, CDs and DVDs. MP3s will be distributed by iTunes and more online shop like that.
I guess I won't deal anymore with a conventional distributor because of the stress it creates. I spend to much
time calling, writing e-mail to have some news about our releases etc... and never have any answers...
» Can you explain exactly how Lumina works (regarding visual exploration of sound)?
Everything started with Sio B'baas who introduced acid and techno to me when I was 15 years old. This music
made me see amazing pictures in my mind. Sio B'baas sent me some DJ mixes he made and the more I
received the more I could imagine new things! I started to invent some stories and create some worlds. That's
how I compose actually. I see an image of the sounds and make music more like painting. I place the sounds
here and there like on a canvas.
As I said herein I play some subtile notes in order to modulate the main color of the chords, exactly like a
painter who try to harmonise his color pallette with some touch of colors.
So the idea of Lumina is to create music with the help of stories. We first begin some tracks and then we
imagine some stories by just letting the pictures flow in our mind. Sio B'baas and me are the main influencers
but we do want the artists themselves to give us their ideas as much as they can.
Once we have a rough idea of how the EP will sound like we build the songs to deepen them regarding to the
stories. It's like making a cartoon, we first make the scenario and rough, the story board and then the final
production.
Idealy I'de like to have a video for each songs we release but it takes too much time and we could only do that
if we could live from the music. So we focus on the design. I always draw the story-boards but I don't have the
time to make them look like a finished work.
For Masse/Mémoire album which is on its way, we are making a comics book. Sio B'bass is one half of
Masse/Mémoire with Olivier Tison. Olivier focus on sounds research and the technical part of the musical
process, and Sio gives his crazy ideas of sounds and structures :)
He wrote the whole story of the album and we discussed about it with a drawer who is making the comics right
now.
I'm also preparing some DVDs for Lumina. I already made a collection for a publisher. It's "plasma vision" a
concept of visual and soundscapes all made my myself. My idea was to make a window in your house, just play
the DVDs in loop and transform your screen in a window with beautiful pictures of nature. You can visit
www.warm-up.tv to see some samples.
I'll take the best of those DVDs and release 1 or 2 on Lumina in a near future.
We also decided to create a new division of Lumina for ambient called Ikuna (www.ikuna.ws ). Sio and I
share a great interest in deep ambient and the highest end of electronic music, and we thought about
introducing a whole new lot of interesting music reflecting the more introspective side of ourselves. We should
release a lot of DVDs on it, I'm working on ambient video effects. This label will be dedicated for relaxing, deep
ambient and related to well being, exploration of our inner worlds. Lumina is more an extroverted way to
express our feelings by dancing. It's more music to reveal your emotions, your inner mind and fill your soul
with good vibes.
Pictures are very important to me, to be able to immerse people and make them travel into themselve wich is
the best place to feel freedom!
» Who are the other artists who have released on Lumina and why have you invited them for the
label?
Deep Eyes, Masse/Mémoire and Kage are the ones who already released on Lumina. Unai (force tracks) will
also release a lot under 3 others names: "Tonal", "Mesmerites" and "I". Phil Stumpf a German producer is the
next release (lumina 007) just after my album. I will also release the Canadian producer Eloi Brunelle who
release on Thinner www.thinnerism.com .
They are all great producer, they all have a deep, dreamy, dubby and groovy sound and produce different style
of music. Deep Eyes music is very dubby and minimal with always good atmospheres, he's very involved in
Yoga and this naturally feeds his music. Masse/Mémoire is very achieved, they spend a lot of time on
arrangement and research. They probably are the best producers on Lumina for now. Sio B'baas has a very
funky musical background and Olivier comes from alternative rock, classical and Jazz but both are passionated
by space and sci-fi. I admire their music, it's very mature and is a real exiting adventure.
Kage is a very good producer from Detroit. I love his minimal sound and melancholic melodies. Very soulfull!
There is something so strong with his sound! I wish I could compose minimal music like him and still have this
power in it!
» Associating music with images somehow gives another nuance of meaning to it. In your opinion,
who chooses what music means? The producer, the listener or both?
I think both. But not everybody can easily imagine picture so I though it was a good idea to help them. And I
also think it's very important for the artist himself to discover what is hidden behind his creation. Making music
is like writing a story about yourself. I find it very interesting to understand what we need in our inner life.
The listener is free to imagine his own story. But I bet in most of the case the story will contain the same
symbolic meaning. Sharing music is like sharing dreams, that's why I love music so much. With pictures you
have a total encounter with the artist's inner word.
I like artists that give something positive through their art. The impact of music has an enormous impact on
people but most don't realize how much! That's why I do think it's very important to give positive vibes to
people.
Associating images with sounds can help people to understand the music, the message.
» Your Iulia EP was one of the best Adrenogroov releases so far. Do you plan to release more
singles by this label?
Yeah, a new EP is on its way but it takes a long time because of the remix. Orlando Voorn is making it and
Salvatore from Adrenogroov didn't really want the remix he already made so he asked him to make a new
one... it's like he doesn't make it :/
So we are just waiting after him.
» You've been producing dance music for more than 10 years, but I don't see many EPs released by
yours. Why?
Well, there is 2 reasons. First I didn't find anyone who wanted to sign me after I left F com. And the second
reason is that I try to release the music I'd be proud when I'll be older. I mean I don't want to release just for
releasing, there is no sense to do that like a lot of people do. They pollute the market and make it become
poor. People loose interest in the scene because there is too much records and a lot is just good for 3 or 4
months and then die. Producers write music like they consume in the society. They don't think about the impact
of it.
So I'm trying to give the best of me because I respect the listener.
» Are you a religious person?
Well, actually I do but I also love science and of course art. I think religion is a good way to have moral rules
and spiritual ways of living, science is good for understanding the physical dimension and mathematical
abstract concepts which is related to a certain part of the spirit. And I love art because it explores the astral
and mind dimension, the feeling and archetypal parts of ourselves.
Making music like a scientist and a religious person is for me the best thing to do. Religion tends to take care
about the impact of your act on you and your surrounding environment while science experiment and explore
mind's creativity.
Unfortunatly scientists are often not religious enough and create things they can regret later. It's good to follow
our inspirations but it's also good to control what we do. Scientists are like children that have a funny tools in
hands: mind. But they don't even understand this tool itself and only try to use it like when a baby try a new
object. Babies tends to break what they have in their hands.
Scientists do the same with mind's tools, they use it in the wrong way most of the time.
Science also bring a new way of living which is very cool. I love all those new computers and technologies,
especialy the Internet! More and more people can have a more comfortable life. We also have more tools to
create art that comes from the spirit... I think of 3D software for example. Mathematics used like a tool for art
is one of my goal.
I'm composing some ambient albums at this time with mathematical concepts. I'm trying to invent a new way
of composing inspired by "fractal grooves" from Vir Unis. I love this approach of composing rythmes! Fractal
pictures are very nice to watch on and it's only mathematical functions.
It makes me think about the physical world which is only mathematical functions too. Spirit creates the rules
and we can see the impact of it in our physical world. The best exemple are the clouds! I love how they appear
and disappear from the sky. They potentially exist in the sky but need the appropriated air density to be visible,
so they appear and disapear magicely which inspire me a lot. Mathematic is the same for me. There is a world
of functions that I call the mathematical & archetypal dimension and those functions need the appropriated
conditions to appear in the physical world. Like temperature, right elements, energy etc...
So I mean I'm trying to explore a part of my spirit which is made of energy and functions and want to make
them visible and audible thru art. Those functions have to cross my soul before becoming music and picture. So
I try to have a clear mind and pure soul by practising religions in order to give beauty. I don't have any
preferences in religions, I like them all. They all have the truth and are all complementary. Fighting for them is
stupide and the opposite of what it is supposed to teach!
The story of "Iulia EP" on Adrenogroov is about that kind of creation processs I described herein. Iulia is a
Godess who looks at a far intense star. She transforms this light in dreams she makes about it. Those create
beauty, grace and life on worlds within herself. The more she dreams the more she creates worlds and beauty.
Women are the representation of this Godess, they are beautiful and could be connected to their "Mother" and
express themselves more creativly like Iulia Godess does!!! I like to imagine that we are in the body of this
Godess, the Universe!
» Is Taho your real name?
I took it from a cartoon called "Les Mysterieuses Citées d'Or" or "Tayo no Ko Esteban". The story is about a
child called Esteban who try to find his father. A guy who saved Estaban's life when he was a baby needs him to
discover a Maya city made of Gold. So they leave Spain to go to the new world. Esteban encounter Zia an Inca
girl. She also try to find her father who is the big priest of the Maya gold city. They encounter Tao a descendant
of the Mu empire that was directly in relation with the Mayas. This civilisation knew a lot about energy and the
relationship between matter and spirit. They had flying machines that worked with solar energy. They were
very advanced in technology. I loved this charachter because he has a lot of knowledge but still follows his
heart to use it and feels lucky to know so much. In fact he doesn't really realise how much he knows. I just
added a "H" and it became Taho.
I like Maya's theories and they used to have a very precise calendar wich predicted all the comsic events from
now. It's very interesting to learn about what they predicted for a very near future in 2012. If you analyse all
religions they all talk about this big cosmic event.
Our solar system is being synchronised with the galaxie we are in. Which means the earth is changing and
people are awakening. We can wish for a new way of thinking and more peace on earth.
» Do you think you get a good reception for your music in France?
Not really. But I don't really mind. I would say "Time is a simple thing" which is also the title of a Tonal's song
to be release on Lumina ;)
I'm just waiting. I just wish I could make a living from music. But everything comes in time.

Taho live at Amsterdam Dance Event (october 23rd 2004)!!
Because DJ Jerome had to cancel his visit to our studio at last minute, we couldn't broadcast a real live live set.
But fortunately we'd met French top producer Taho last Friday and he gave us a recording of his live act
October 23rd @ Club Zyon at the Amsterdam Dance Event, so that's what we decided to throw on air! January
2nd he will bring our studio a visit to do his deep thing real live (after having played at the Mirror Centre in
Amsterdam) (to read more about that soon, check www.radio-activity.nl!) Radio-Activity unanymously agree
that his ADE set may be the most beautiful set of 2004, at least of all we've been watching and listening to, and
tha's a lot of sets...listen to this superset, and get convinced...

Interview met Fransman Taho
http://www.onlydance.nl/v1/index.php?itemid=1036
De muziek liet me nadenken over
B'baas, Brian Kage, Deep Eyes, Olivier
Tison).
The Orb - 'UFORB'
Niggli & Simona - 'La Lumière Des Sources'
Jean Michel Jarre - 'Oxygen And Equinox'

Excellent stuff.
DJ Paulette Radio FG Wink Reinterpretation finds this a slot in my

Mix Mag Big Tunes / October 2007
#10
This may be our Acid House issue and he may be mixing this month‘s mag, but for once
there are no 303 acid squiggles in this Josh Wink remix. But we‘ll forgive him as this has
enough sultry melodies and surging white noise blasts to rock a dancefloor in trademark
Wink style.
It goes ―Ahh ahhhhhhhh‖
Best mix Wink interpretation
