Electronic Grade Book
Grades Online
Oak Valley is proud to share an opportunity for all of our students and parents. Teachers
are using the Skyward Grading program that connects directly to the Skyward Family
Access. Skyward Family Access is a web-based program that allows parents and
students to monitor progress along with the ability to view other pertinent information
including assignments and individual grades of teachers. Different teachers will post
grades at different times. Please check with individual teachers if you have specific
questions regarding postings.
Students may access their progress reports by completing the following steps:
1. Go to the district website, www.huronvalley.k12.mi.us
2. Click on the “Family Access” link on the left side of the page
3. On the new page, click on the “Family Access” link again
4. This will take you to the sign on page.
5. Students will sign on using the first five letters of their last name followed
by the first three letters of their first name and end with 000 (zeroes).
Mary Smith-sign on would be smithmar000
If your last name is less than 5 letters, spaces are used.
If there is more than one student with the same sign on, the
numbers at the end of the sign on may be 001, 002, or 003.
6. Password-The student’s password is the student’s lunch number.
Parents may obtain their own access by applying for an account. The parent account
gives parents access to additional information, including lunch accounts and attendance.
