Jewellery Please note that the policy of jewellery for gymnasts AND coaches is zero tolerance. No jewellery whatsoever is allowed in the performing areas. Should a judge see jewellery during a performance, they will stop the routine as soon as it is safe to do so. When removed, the team will be allowed to continue, but they will receive a penalty. Apparatus Clarifications Please be advised that the floor area for the Scottish Friendly will be standard Artistic size (12 2 m ). There will be only one run-up for trampette. The vaulting table will be used by all teams. Clubs are advised that the competition organiser will provide 1 trampette for the use of any team that prefers not to bring their own. It will be a standard trampette. It is the Team coach’s responsibility to ensure the equipment is appropriately placed and safe to use. Vault Height The height of the vault will be as follows: Men Women & mixed Level 1 165 160 Level 2 145 – 165 135 - 160 Level 3 135 135 It is the responsibility of the coaches to ensure that the vault is adjusted prior to their team’s competition slot. Trampette Disclaimer At present the rules allow for clubs to provide their own Trampette. However, Scottish Gymnastics has advised that those clubs must complete a ‘Trampette Declaration Form’ (enclosed) and present this form and the Trampette for inspection on the day of the event. The timing of the inspection is to be at the time of the Team’s registration. The Trampette will be inspected to ensure it complies with the specification in the Regulations for the event and that the apparatus is in good condition. Please inform the Competition Director, when your Trampette is erected and is available for inspection. The Trampette must not be used until a signed sticker has been placed on the apparatus. This inspection will not include or cover any Page 2 of 3
modifications made to the Trampette after inspection. Scottish Gymnastics have advised that only the designated club may then use this apparatus at that event. Please advise the competition organiser in advance if it is your intention to bring your own Trampette. It is not necessary to send the Disclaimer Form. You are reminded that the rules of the event demand that TWO coaches must be present on the landing area for Trampette before the Head Judge in that discipline may signal the start of that event. For Level 3 (Primary) sections one coach may stand at the front of the vault. Please inform the judges if this is your intention. Personnel Competition Director Competition Organiser Head Judge
