Thai trousers – how to make them.
Cut two pieces of cloth, E F E1 F1

approximately 90 cm wide, and
as long as the length of your leg.
Cut out an oval shaped gusset in
the top of both pieces of cloth.

Sew the gussets together, E to E/E1 F/F1
E1, through to F to F1. A C

Sew a waistband across from A
to A1, and another from C to C1, A E E1

leaving spare on each side so C1

that you can tie them together.
Tie C1 and C around your waist
from the back, and A and A1
round from the front, and you
have a pair of open legged
trousers. I come from a cold
country, so I have long strips of
Velcro sewed down the legs to B1

These trousers were originally
made in cotton, I have also used
fleece lined with silk for
warmth.
