Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL)
Application Process
1. All applicants applying for RPL must contact the National Office.
2. The National Office will provide the applicant with the required Application
Form and Policy.
3. All applicants will need to consider if and how they have achieved each
learning outcome and if they can satisfy the performance criteria by
submitting valid, sufficient, authentic and current evidence.
4. All applicants will need to provide all relevant supporting documentation at the
time of their application and pay the Administration Fee applicable.
Assessment
1. All applications will be reviewed by the Course Review Committee
2. The Course Review Committee will check that the evidence submitted meets
with the Policy requirements below.
3. If the event of partial completion the Course Review Committee will advise
the applicant which performance criteria still needs to be achieved and what
evidence is still required.
4. The National Office will collate the recommendations from the Course Review
Committee and return the Assessors’ Report with recommendations for the
applicant.
Policy
All officials must satisfy the competencies of the accreditation.
Level 2 Requirements Conditions
Attended a Level 1 GP of Officiating Must be a current member
Course, or relevant of Skate Australia
leadership/communication training Must Sign Officials Code of
program Ethics
Officiated at a Statel Level Must Pay Registration fee
Competition in the capacity of “on
rink” and “off rink” officials of 30

hours; and
Officiated at a State event as Goal
Judges for a minimum of 10 hours;
Attended officiating meeting and
rules update presented by accredited
skate Australia presenters
Attended a Basic First Aide Course
