Position: Full-time Behavioral Therapist
The Wayman Center provides center-based one to one intensive and individualized
(ABA) services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. The
Wayman Center is conveniently located in Plano, TX, a northern suburb of Dallas, and is
family owned and operated, allowing the freedom to give priority to the quality of
services when making business decisions.
While providing effective 1:1 therapy for children with widely varied needs, The
Wayman Center has experienced significant success in helping children with the greatest
needs, such as those who are unable to talk, those with limited self-help and independent
work/play skills, those who engage in serious problem behaviors, and children who may
have demonstrated little or no progress in other settings.
The ideal applicant loves interacting with children, has a Bachelor’s degree in behavior
analysis or a related field such as psychology, special education, early childhood, etc.,
and has worked with children with special needs, including autism, preferably in some
type of ABA program.
Compensation includes competitive annual salary, generous paid vacation/leave/holidays,
paid group health insurance and supervision for the BCaBA.
