                              GSM/GPRS Driver
The following are some screen captures of the BVRP cellular CF card driver. It runs
with the Enfora GSM/GPRS 0110 CF card.

From the Desktop launch the Phone Tools program.




If the icon is not visible from the desktop go to My Device/SystemCF/BVRP Software
pocket Phone Tools. Find the application called PhoneTools.exe. The fastest way to find
it is to View the files by Details, and select sort by Size.
Once PhoneTools.exe is seen, touch it only once to highlight it. Then go to the File
menu, Send To > Desktop as Shortcut.
The “Shortcut to PhoneTools” will now be seen from the desktop.




To run PhoneTools, double tap the Phone Tools Icon on the desktop.
From this screen, the small globe icon in the upper right will launch the GPRS/GSM
service.




Once you select the Globe Icon, you will be prompted to select the internet provider you
are running on the SIM card.
 If you have not configured the device for your SIM provider, you may need to go
through some settings under the Tools Menus, Settings, Network Operator. See below.




Here, there is an automatic detection for available providers.
Once the automatic detection occurs you will see which provider is available to you.




The unit will display a dialing or connection status, depending on which provider you
want to use.
There may be an occation where you need to build a connection for a new provider. Go
to Internet Connection.




Then New…
Give the connection a name like Cingular in Kentucky or T-mobile.




Then proceed through the connection settings. The following defaults are recommended.
Dropdown menu for internet2.voicestream.com Leave the Name and Password blank.
Different cell coverage regions may vary. Try both options to determine the correct
setting.
Then Next,

Click the X to close,
Click OK to go back to main screen,




Initiate a connection by pressing the small Globe Icon for internet, and initiate phone
dialing by pressing the Phone icon.
