o FP/HIV integration started in Garissa CCC and
MCHs in District Hosp. Supported training, Job aids
and data tools.

Findings
Facility data Jan-June in 6 facilities;
Of 123 SDM acceptors 88.6% (n=109) of them
had never used a FP method before.
14 clients who had ever used a FP changed
due undesirable side effects.
Main reasons given for accepting to use the
SDM were: does not affect health (40.5%);
religious reasons (33.9%); and does not have
side effects (31.4%).

Training of 25 Health Workers on CTU/HIV.
Supported recruitment of Lab Techs, VCT
Counsellors and Nutritionist to improve
