 Game Director for Football, Men‟s Soccer, and Women‟s Soccer

 Responsible for generating and negotiating rental contracts for SMU athletic facilities.

 Monitored work orders through physical plant for facility repairs and custodial services.

 Event manager for non-athletic events taking place in or on SMU athletic facilities/fields.

 Supported external staff members in the areas of development, alumni relations, marketing,

 Aided in the management for a 4-member staff with a budget of $1.6M, overseeing athletic

facilities/complexes and departmental operations to include concessions/catering functions and

Parks and Recreation Department: Athletic Coordinator

 Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates athletic activities, events, and programs.

 Responsible for receiving league payments, enrolling participants, making season schedules,

updating league information, answering all questions concerning leagues, etc.

 Organize and run league tournaments; Tournament Director for softball and flag football

o Create tournament flyer, reserve playing fields, distribute tournament flyer, make

tournament bracket, collect tournament fees, monitor and run tournament, schedule

and manage event staff

 Responsible for arranging cost offset trades with sponsors during the season.

 Prepare program information for brochure publication and registration.

 Prepare and maintain attendance records on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for leagues,

tournaments, and special events

 Prepare and maintain daily revenue reports for athletic activity programs

 Contact local businesses, individuals, and community organizations for program supports and

participation.

 Responsible for field rentals and reservations for all 25 City of Carrollton Athletic Fields.

o Maintain rental calendar, collect payments, set lighting schedule.

 Coordinate the work activities of part-time staff, officials, scorekeepers, and volunteers daily for

all athletic events and special events

 Prepare and handle financial worksheets to be deposited on a daily basis

 Prepare and promote athletic activities and services through press releases, fliers, newsletters,

and leisure brochures; prepares articles for newspaper, signs, posters and verbal announcements.

 Answer questions and provide information to the public regarding activities, classes and

programs; investigate complaints and recommend corrective action as necessary to resolve

complaints.

CONTINUED  Assisted with game-day production and operations at all Desperados home games.
