GOVERNOR SCHWARZENEGGER PROCLAIMS APRIL 2009 AS
CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH
Free Dental Screening and Other Services for Children at “Kids’ Day”
WHAT: More than 50 organizations serving children and families across the State will
participate in the 5th Annual “Kids Day at the Capitol” to help proclaim April as
Child Abuse Prevention Month. This year’s Child Abuse Prevention Month
theme is “Partnering to Strengthen Families.”
Children in attendance will enjoy free dental screenings, pictures with the
Sacramento River Cats mascot, gifts and prizes, and a variety of
performances and exhibits.
