Arab Media advertising to recover in 2010,

Spending on advertising in Arab media will rebound this year after falling 13 percent in 2009,
as Arab economies recover from the international financial crisis, according to a study by
Value Partners Management Consulting.
Arab media will see revenue from advertising increase to $5.1 billion in 2010, from $4.6 billion
in 2009 and $5.3 billion in 2008, said Value Partners’ regional director Santino Saguto at a
press conference today in Dubai. Ad spending will reach $6.3 billion in 2013.
The study covered 15 Arab states including Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi
Arabia, Syria and the United Arab Emirates.
