- Just Busy.
- Age, don’t go out so much.
- Didn’t like the restaurant, now new management hope will be better.
- We used to go out for dinner but got a few bad meals. However since
the changes to restaurant we are starting to go more.

- My wife is home more.
- I support the club though I don’t frequent it on a regular basis, I have
other interests.

- Xmas function for the over 70’s instead of just for kids. Dancing,
Games, entertainment, free drinks for 1 hours etc
- Old Time Dancing lessons – evening
- Sunday Lunch for Widows / Widowers / Single people
- When cows are dry run a 6-8 week evening sports tournament with
district areas competing against each other e.g. Lichfield/ Waotu etc.
- When Bistro closed for lunch the bar supplying finger foods,
sandwiches, sausage rolls, pies and scones etc
- A 500 Cards night
- Free Dessert or drink on your birthday

How do we encourage the younger age group to become members?
1. Have the doors open more? (respond to Greg Burnett that we are a
members club and why the door is by card access?)
2. Try a distance survey life this survey and send to all 18+ and under
25’s in the area.
3. Don’t believe you can.
4. Set aside one night a week for youth say Friday or Saturday night
downstairs for discos etc.
5. have age appropriate sport/quiz nights/fun nights and band that suit
that generation.

7. A night club downstairs once a month
8. Junior Tournament nights
9. An in house Gym would have been a draw card
10. Quality live music on a regular basis
11. Older members need to realize if the Club is to remain viable music
and sports are what attract people particularly the younger set. They
will drink more in an evening (i.e. spend more) than the older members
would in a month. Some older members should put up or shut up!
